Hi there all, I have a bad wireless card and purchased a new one using the HP #392591-001 number. It says that is should work in my computer but I install it and is says hardware is not set up right and therefore does not work. Can anyone here help me find a driver that works or am I SOL on this. I searched everywhere that I know how to find a driver and on HP's website there is no driver for it. OH and my computer will boot up but just wont configure the wireless card.

It may just be the same on you sent me I don't know. What I then did was use the manual config when the hardware installer finds the new hardware, I pointed it directly to the driver instead of searching for it and low and behold it started working. Yay for that.

Let's think outside of the box, and give this Dell driver a try. My google search indicates that the Dell Latitude D610 laptop has a network card with the same hardware ID (PCI VEN_14E4&DEV_4318&SUBSYS_50101468) If the file doesn't run after it extracts (because you don't have a Dell PC), try manually installing the driver by browsing to the installation folder that was extracted when you ran the file. Normally located in C: Dell Drivers and the file number.
